Overview
In the heart of Rwanda –the Land of a Thousand Hills lies a beautiful, Africa’s cleanest and most vibrant city –Kigali capital. Kigali is amazingly Rwanda’s biggest city and vibrant commercial hub, expanding over rolling hills, series of valleys and ridges. Also best known as a primate city, Kigali is still a new city but holds a lot for visitors to explore and experience.
Kigali officially became an administrative outpost in 1907 and since its establishment, it still remains the most remarkable cultural, economic and transport hub. In 1962, it was recognized as a capital city of the Republic of Rwanda during the eve of independence. By becoming a city, it shifted focus away from Huye and since then, Kigali remains the country’s capital city.
